Carly is a Senior Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) Analyst. She is responsible for assessing the ESG performance of current and potential portfolio companies, and works on shareholder engagement initiatives related to a wide range of sustainability issues. She is a member of the Securities Research and ESG Research & Engagement Committees. Carly oversees Walden’s community investing service and contributes to traditional securities research.
Prior to joining the firm in 2012, Carly worked for two years with Walden as an intern while she completed her Master’s degree. She earned a BA, magna cum laude, in Economics and International and Global Studies from Brandeis University and an MA in International Economics and Finance (MAIEF) from the International Business School at Brandeis University. She is also a Phi Beta Kappa key holder. She holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation, and is a member of the CFA Society Boston and the CFA Institute.
From 2015-2017, Carly served as the President of the Boston Chapter of Building a Sustainable Investment Community (BASIC), a sustainable, responsible, and impact (SRI) investing professionals group.
