Carly joined the firm in 2012 as an ESG Analyst. She is responsible for assessing the environmental, social, and governance (ESG) performance of current and potential portfolio companies, and works on shareholder engagement initiatives related to a wide range of sustainability issues. She previously worked for two years with Walden as an intern while she completed her Master’s degree. She is a member of the Investment and ESG Research & Engagement Committees, and oversees Walden’s community investing service.
Carly earned a BA, magna cum laude, in Economics and International and Global Studies from Brandeis University and an MA in International Economics and Finance (MAIEF) from the International Business School at Brandeis University. She is also a Phi Beta Kappa key holder. She holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation, and is a member of the CFA Society Boston and the CFA Institute.
Carly currently serves as the President of the Boston Chapter of Building a Sustainable Investment Community (BASIC), a sustainable, responsible, and impact (SRI) investing professionals group.
