Mr. Moody is a senior vice president, a member of the Board of Directors of Boston Trust, and a portfolio manager. He manages balanced and core equity portfolios for clients with environmental, social, and governance (ESG) investment guidelines, and is the manager of the Walden Balanced Fund (WSBFX). Mr. Moody is also a member of the Investment, Portfolio Strategy, and ESG Research & Engagement Committees.
Prior to joining Boston Trust in 1980, Mr. Moody was an economic consultant to the Shalan Foundation and Natural Resources Defense Council, and served as director of research for the Council on Economic Priorities. He was also co-founder and director of Affirmative Investments, Inc. Mr. Moody earned a B.A. from the University of California at Berkeley and an M.A. in economics from the Graduate Faculty of the New School for Social Research. He serves on the board of South Africa Partners, which supports collaboration between organizations in South Africa and the U.S., and is a member of the American Economic Association and the Boston Security Analysts Society.
