Mr. Cushing is a senior vice president, a member of the Board of Directors of Boston Trust, and a portfolio manager. He manages balanced and equity portfolios for institutional clients, principally Taft-Hartley and public plans. He is a member of the Investment Committee and contributes to securities research and analysis in a variety of industries for the small, SMID, mid cap and core equity portfolio strategies. In addition, Mr. Cushing leads the firm’s new business development and client retention efforts. He is also one of three directors serving on the firm's Audit and Risk Committee.
Prior to joining Boston Trust in 1998, Mr. Cushing worked at SEI Corporation in its investments services and systems Group. He also worked for twelve years in a variety of roles at IBM Corporation. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation and is a member of the Boston Security Analysts Society and the CFA Institute. He earned a B.A. degree, magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa, from Colgate University, and an M.T.S. degree in theology from Harvard University.
